Creativity was a concept that Foster said will be vital to our success. Employees working in non-profit always need to have their creative juices flowing because there are no large budgets.
Foster described her daily routine writing press releases, providing copy for newsletters and updating the company’s Twitter account, but stressed the fact that no two days in her job are ever going to be the same.
She is able to be involved with designing publications such as magazines or newsletters, and keeps her blogs, Facebook and Twitter accounts up to date.
To end her presentation, Foster stressed the importance of building a portfolio. When looking for job opportunities, having this resume developed is going to be so important. Current employees need to be able to see first hand our experience in the field.
