Learning from a blog…

I am following the “PRoactive” blog. I am going to talk about one blog they posted that taught me quite a bit. This post stated that majority of reporters and editors are using social media as their primary sources, but since it is not as reliable as traditional ways they turn to PR people for their primary research. Therefore, we, as PR people, have an obligation to make our news fully accessable through social media. We also need to make sure when posting the news that we make the fact checking and research easily available for the reporters or editors. This is one of the main things that has jumped out at me in the week I have been following the “PRoactive” blog.
